Spend your time making a difference in the lives of youth in our community! The Boys & Girls Clubs of Tucson needs volunteers!

Special Note:

Volunteer orientations are generally held on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 3:00 pm, @ the Harold Ashton Resource Center at 3155 E. Grant Rd.  Once your complete application has been recieved, you will be contacted to schedule an orientation.

Here are some of the opportunities available:

  • Work directly in a clubhouse with youth ages 7-17. Some examples: Athletic and sports activities, homework help, games room, arts & crafts room. [Background check required for those over age 18].

Download our volunteer application, complete and return to our Administrative Offices. Mail address: ATTN: HR, P.O. Box 40217, Tucson, AZ 85717.  Delivery address: Harold Ashton Resource Center, 3155 E. Grant Rd. (northeast corner of Grant & Country Club on the Doolen Middle School campus). When we receive your completed application, we will check your interests against our clubhouse needs and contact you re: specific opportunities available. You will be scheduled to attend a volunteer orientation to learn more about our organization and how you can contribute. You will be assigned a supervisor and your job duties and volunteer schedule will be determined. 

  • Volunteer at a special fundraising event ( alone or with a group)

Check our website for upcoming special events.  Contact our Director of Special Events, Lacey DeLeon, via email: LDeleon@bgctucson.org with details on your interests and talents. Lacey will check your interests against our organization needs and contact you re: opportunities available.

  • Bring a group for a one-time project with our members 

Contact our Director of Program Operations, John McDowell, via email: JMcDowell@bgctucson.org with details on your group's interests and talents. John will check your interests against our clubhouse needs and contact you re: opportunities available.

  •  Intern for school credit at a club or in the administrative office.
